From the directory with the DDLab files, enter the name of the executable (renamed ddlabz11) preceded by ./ and followed by &, for example ... ./ddlabz11 & Alternatively, first change directory to "ddfiles" then enter the name of the executable preceded by ../ and followed by & ../ddlabz11 & This will keep files generated by DDLab in the ddfiles subdirectory. --------------------------------------------------------------------- You can recompile DDLab yourself from the source code using the latest September Mac Makefiles provided in http://www.ddlab.org/download/ddlab_code_Sept2023/ Makefile_MacOSX_Monterey_z11 Makefile_iMac_macOSSierra_z11 Makefile_macPB_z11 Makefile_MacPro_SnowLeopard_MacOSX_z11 Makefile_MacOS_Catalina_z11 Makefile_macPB_z11 DDLab would appreciate news of alternative compiles. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Note on missing hash "#" from some mac keyboards: "#" is used for some on-the-fly options, for example, to toggle scrolling space-time patterns. If "#" is missing as in "MacBook Retina 2016", it can be made with alt(option)3, the alt or option key and key 3. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
